THE HEALTH BENEFITS OF RAJMA

     Rajma is universally popular nut element used in various dishes like salad, curry, pulao. It is broadly used in the Mexican cuisine. It is like kidney shaped so, it is also called kidney bean.The rajma should be kept in daily diet because of its essential health beneficial nutrients.
     Rajma consists of seeds of pop-fruit of plant,a type of common bean (Phaseolus vulgaris) of the family known as Fabaceae.
Kidney bean (Rajma) benefits
  • Kidney beans are the rich source of folic acids, several proteins and minerals. It can promote the health of the heart. The folate compound helps to reduce the level of amino acid compound, homocysteine which usually increase the risk of several cardiovascular problems. Kidney beans are rich in magnesium which promote the heart benefits. Magnesium prevents the hardening of arteries present in heart and help to raise the flow of blood, oxygen and many nutrients through the arteries.    
  • Rajma is a good source of dietary fiber. They help to treat the constipation by increasing the bulk in the stool to make them speed up through the intestine. They are also used to remove away the irritable bowel syndrome.
  • Rajma seeds contain high level of iron which helps to boost up the energy level and helps to restore the iron which is needed for strong health. You will be amazed that it gives very much low calorie below 50kcal. It also help to control the normal glucose level in blood.
