COCOA-THE MIRACULOUS FOOD

    There is no one left in world who does not love chocolate or cocoa. It is the most mouth watering food in the world. It is popular for its amazing aroma and delighful taste. The one of the fourth of total economy is reported by social media to come up from cocoa or chocolate recipes in this whole planet. If you are chocolate lover then you will be pleased to know that the cocoa is a packet of nutrients which are more important for good health.
The importance of cocoa beans
     Cocoa is obtained from the seeds of the plant of Theobroma cocoa belonging to the family of Sterculiaceae.
    Cocoa seeds are rich in theobromine and cocoa butter which is oil of theobrom and poly phenols. It contains small amount of caffeine. The rich aroma and earthy flavour happens to the seeds due to its poly phenol compounds.
  • Cocoa provide the stimulative properties and diuretic properties because of its theobromine components.
  • Cocoa butter is largely used as suppository base in pharmaceutical industry.
  •  It help to stimulate various good feeling chemical such as serotonin, dopamine etc. in brain and enhance the mood. 
  • It also help to reduce the depression, hypertension which lead to many heart problems.
  • Cocoa consists of the small quantities of  phenethylamine which is well known stimulant of the nervous sysytem in brain. They help to stimulate the secretion of the opium like components such as endorphins which improve sexual capability and promote love chemistry in brain.
  • The antioxidant present in cocoa is poly phenol which helps to reduce the development of reactive oxygen compounds to cure the cell component, promote anti-aging property. The anti-oxidant help minimize the heart disease and make the person feel good.
