   The anti-oxidant rich vegetable bean is popular worldwide for healthy and tasty recipes of them. They provide a lot of health beneficial nutrients.
     Bean consists of the green pop fruit of the plant known as Phaseolus vulgaris and belongs to the family of fabaceae. Bean consists of high amount of vitamins, antioxidants, minerals and several micronutrients.

  • Bean is rich in dietary fiber. It has laxative property. It promote colon mucous membrane and prevent it to be affected by several toxins. It may combine with carcinogens or the chemicals leading cancer to stay away cancer. The fiber helps to decrease the blood cholesterol level;thus prevent the cholesterol, combined with the bile acids to be re-absorbed in colon.    
  • Bean is reported to be good source of vitamin A, flavonoids, several anti-oxidants like zeta-xanthin, beta carotene and lutein. Those active constituents helps to swipe away the free raical substances and reactive oxygen component leading to premature aging and several disease. 
  • Zeta-xanthine, well known anti-oxidant protect the body from harmful UV ray. It absorbed into the macula lutea in retina of eye to protect them from UV ray. It is also capable to reduce some risk of age related macular disease in adults.  
  • Beans are reported to be an excellent source of vitamin C which is important for the development of the connective tissue in various part of the body and also provide proper care of cornea and skin. It is also rich in vitamin B9 that is an important requirement of cell growth and development.
