    Olive oil is seemed to be the best natural oil for health benefits. The active constituents in olive oil is believed to have the mild effects on health as well as skin. In ancient history, the Egyptian had used it as a skin care remedy. But it is now universally used for cooking, skin care products and also enhancing the health problems. 
    The olive oil is generally found to be expensive. The 'Extra Virgin Olive Oil' is more expensive than the other olive oil product. Actually Extra Virgin oil is produced by one pressing of fresh ripe olive and this is not subjected to be processed. The hydraulic presses generally is to be applied to squeeze out the oil of fruit under low pressure to give the best quality oil named Virgin olive oil. So that's why, it is well known as the purest one. Cooking with olive oil is the healthiest way to keep the health fit and of course to prevent the stretching sign, acne problem of skin.

    Olive oil is the fixed oil come out from the ripe fruit of Olea europoea of the family of Oleaceae. The active constituents in olive oil are present as triglycerides which are appeared in the form of olein, palmitin and linolein.
  • Externally olive oil is used as an emollient and soothing agent for the inflammed surfaces on skin. Hydroxytyrosol, potent component is an anti-oxidant which help to damage the skin-cell damage. It can be well absorbed into skin layer to make it softer. Another antioxidants found are vitamin A and vitamin E which also protect skin from being damage. The antioxidant component surprisingly works as moisturizer. It helps to trap moisture into  the cell pores while the another moisturizer cream moisturize the skin but it may clog the pores that results to pimple, acne etc. Not only it has the moisturizing property but also it also make the skin brighten. The antioxidants does not clog the pores and make the skin surface smooth, soften due its deep penetration through the skin.
  • Internally, it is found to control the bad cholesterol (LDL) level. It also help to stay away the risk of stroke because of the presence of oleic acid in olive oil. It is also known as mild laxative.
